So, take a look at our lives this year thus far...we hope we find everyone well!! Enjoy!

Decorating Easter Cookies
One of the best parts about decorating cookies is eating the frosting...right, Evs? :)
A day at the zoo...Uncle Ken spoiled us this year with a membership to the Cleveland MetroParks Zoo! Our first trip out was in April...a beautiful Spring day...unusual for Cleveland!

Easter 2010
With Joey's new job, my mom finally had all her kids together for Easter for the 1st time in 6 years (or something like that)!! We went to my Grama's facility...they had activities, Easter Egg hunts & the Easter Bunny was there! It was a lot of fun, & I think my Grama really enjoyed seeing her great-grandchildren! (and P.s....Evi's adorable Easter dress is from her Aunt Kristy!)

The Easter Bunny visited Evelyn in Columbus this year! He took her age into consideration when hiding her basket!
"There it is!!!"
Nice & easy to find...
"Wow, for me?!"

A visit from Indiana...
My bestie, Morgan & her kiddos made the trek to come & stay with us for a couple of days! We had so much fun & love it when they come to visit!! We miss them dearly!!!!!!!!
The older kids...Evelyn, Hayden & Emerson
The girls & their blankets...Finley & Evelyn (Morgan was the one who got Evs her favorite blanket)
Finger Painting
In May, we visited Aunt Kristy & Mr. Jason in Virginia. Mr. Jason scored us some super sweet seats to the Tribe vs. Orioles game! Unfortunately, for some reason, I didn't come out with a picture of all of us together from the weekend (Nana & Grandpa went, too!!)...I know Kristy got one, so if you send me the picture, I can add it to the blog!

All the grandkids on my parents' side together for a luncheon celebrating Mimi & Poppy's 35th Anniversary!
After the Anniversary Luncheon, we went out on the boat. Evelyn had a blast!
Father's Day 2010....after attempting canoeing with Evelyn down the Grand River (we did it, but boy was it kinda a nightmare...the water was low & I had to get out & drag us across the rocks), we came back home for a relaxing afternoon in the backyard...Daddy got into the teeny baby pool with Evs...she thought that was pretty cool.
First pigtails :)
First time in the water at the lakehouse
Tappan 2010
Every year my dad's side of the family visits Tappan Lake Park for a week of vacation. What a fun year it was...the great-grandkids totaled 10 this year! It was a lot of fun to see all the kids playing together! And of course us grandchildren loooove the nights at the campfire! Even Sarah made it out, EVERY night this year!!! It was so fun!
Thanks to Uncle Chris, my daughter looks like a little boy in the picture...of course, Scott LOVED it! Anyway, I had to put this picture up because it was Evelyn's 1st sparkler!! :)
We lucked out with the weather this year (well, a bit hot & humid); we were able to let the kids play in the pools everyday!
Evelyn loved playing with her cousins, Henry....
...Drew,
...and Caitie
The great-grandkids all dressed up! Thanks to Aunt Marylou, Sarah, & Mags, the kids brought costumes this year & Trick OR Treat"ed" at Tappan! It was really quite cute & the kids had a blast!!
A day at the Tappan Beach. Evi & Ari gettin dirty
Evs loved playing in the "Tappan Sand"
Poppy & Evi heading to the playground...my dad told me he had like 7 heart attacks watching her play on the jungle gym :)
Boarding at Aperture
Thanks to Uncle Jeremy, we scored some free seats for the Avett Brothers concert (they opened for John Mayer)...we decided it was perfect for taking Evs (as we could see one of our faves, the Avetts, & then jet after their set). She had a blast!! Absolutely LOVED the show...danced with Daddy (& Mommy), got to eat some ice, & stayed up past her bedtime! We threw her in her jammies before we left for home so we could easily put her to bed...she slept soundly that night!
Daddy showing Evs one of his favorite places on Earth: Blossom Music Center
An attempt at a family shot
Chillin' in the lawn pre-show
Mesmerized watching the show up close...she LOVED it! But we ended up moving back to the lawn...too loud for those little ears!
Snack time in the lawn...and cuddles with Momma :)
The Crew, hanging in the lawn...Ms. Jacquelynn (sorry if I butchered the spelling), Uncle Jeremy, Daddy & Evs
My cousin, Jimmy, & I had the honor of witnessing Henry's Baptism...I'm sure I can speak for Jimothy & myself that we were extremely grateful to be Hank's Godparents! He did so well...didn't even come close to crying! Takes after his older cousin, Evelyn :) Unfortunately, my diaper bag, with camera, was out in the hallway with Busy-Bee-Evelyn, so I wasn't able to pass off the camera to someone to take pics during the ceremony :(
The Godparents with Hank (Don't worry, Jimmy was in suit & all...but we took this pic after Henry's nap!!)
The proud parents with the Godparents
Evs & I rode with my parents for Henry's Baptism, as Scott was in NY. On our way home we made a pit stop at Young's Dairy for some ice cream. This place is a big tourist attraction; good ice cream, but Evs was waaaay more interested in the livestock...and a random dog.

In late August, Scott & I drove up to Michigan to camp with our friends, Natalie & Ben....Super Fun...it was quite the journey finding our campsite, but once we came upon it, we heard trumpets blaring & angels singing! We camped in the Manistee National Forest & our site sat upon a steep hill that sloped down into the Manistee River. It was absolutely beautiful...we didn't even feel like we were in Michigan. We both brought our canoes & took what we think was a 15 mile canoe ride...sooo fun!!
Here is a picture of our campsite:
Our tents, respectively. Natalie named them: The Mansion & The Guest House ;)
Ben, manning the stove...yep, Ben & Natalie came uber prepared...they provided the food, & we supplied the alcohol...let's just say we didn't go hungry nor thirsty :)
Scott & Natalie manning the fire...yep, using a mattress pump to give the fire some air!!
A shot to our first night camping....we were finally settled in & well-fed!
Scott & I in the tent....of course it rained the first night, so we all hung out in our tent
Ben, Natalie, Me, & Scott...a pit stop down the Manistee River

Great photos!!! There is a HUGE difference from the first pictures to the last. She looks like she should be starting preschool in the last shot!
Youngs Dairy Farm is the farm outside of Yellow Springs. I haven't been there since about 2002 but I can imagine it has grown.
Love you!
Great blog Julie. I enjoyed all the pictures and it looks like you guys didn't sit still for a minute. Love you!!
