Summer Fun

It's hard to believe that June is almost gone already...which means the Peanut will be 7 months next Friday! Here are some pictures from the last couple of weeks...still waiting (patiently) on Evi's 6 month photo shoot. Hope we find everyone well & enjoying their summer as much as us!

Pre-bedtime snuggles with Aunt Kristy...

"Oooh, lettuce!"

No clothes on a hot day...

Look at her eyeing her Daddy's bottle!!
We start 'em early here...

Scott's First Father's Day...While I, myself, am a bit of a Daddy's Girl and think that my Papa Bear is the absolute best daddy for me, I also have to say that my husband is an AMAZING father and the best daddy for our beautiful Evelyn Deborah. Here are some pics to see how "Daddy's" day unfolded!

"My Daddy's the Best" Bib

Opening present #1...it's a pillow :)

After Scott got his pillow I told him to "take Evi & go find a comfy place outside to relax."

Taking it out for a test-drive...

"Oh yeah!"

Present #2...

Reading the note from me since Evi cannot yet verbally express her love for her Daddy...

"World's Greatest Dad"

"I think I like this..."

"Ahhhh...relaxation."

"I'm a big girl sitting at the table for lunch!"

Hammock snuggles...

Bathing Beauty...Evi's first time in a kiddie pool! At first she was scared because she couldn't catch her balance with the water being higher than tub-time and she kept sliding back...but once she got the hang of things she LOVED it! :)

Drying out...

Meyer Cookout

After Bobber & Michelle's wedding on Friday, Sarah & Steve had the family over for a cookout Saturday afternoon. It was the first time all four newbies got to be together (besides the wedding the night previous). Just a few pics from the day...enjoy!
p.s.....on Sunday, we shot Evi's 6 mth pictures...but Scott is super busy between senior photos & editing wedding pics (plus two more weddings this coming weekend), so I don't even think he has even had the chance to download this shoot...be patient & hopefully soon we will have her pics up! Love you all!

Some luvin' from Aunt April
I didn't even know until I downloaded these pics that Chris got ahold of our camera!!!

I can't believe Uncle Sean fell asleep reading such a captivating book...which belongs to 2 1/2 year-old-Anderson

The Newbies...a view from above! 2 baldies & 2 with a full head of hair!
Cameron (Cam--3/19/09), Miles (3/9/09), Evelyn (Evi--12/3/08), & Arielle (Ari--2/17/09)
You can only imagine the kind of trouble these kids will get into together!

gone "phish"ing...

Last week Scott & I dropped Evi off at Grama & Poppy's as he & I headed down to Asheville, NC & Knoxville, Tenn. to see our beloved band, Phish. It was my first trip away from The Peanut--4 days! After we said our goodbye's, we drove more than halfway to Asheville & camped at Pipestem Resort & State Park in West Virginia. The resort has a restaurant in which you have to take a tram down the mountain-side to get to it (or you can drive an hour and a half through the mountain). The staff actually have to take the tram to work everyday...AND their food deliveries get brought to the restaurant by tram, too! It was really cool! Monday we awoke & headed straight to Asheville. We got there in time for lunch, and had a beer with our lunch...as we walked around exploring Asheville, we stopped occasionally & had a beer here & there...we were in bed by 9:30! :) Tuesday we walked around some more before getting into line for the sold out general admission show---Scott really wanted to get good seats! And the wait was worth it...too bad we can't take cameras in to show the pics! Wednesday morning we ate breakfast and headed to Knoxville---we took the scenic route through the Smokies. We stopped in Cosby, Tennessee for lunch at Carver's Orchard & Restaurant---which housed a farm market & homemade candies...my heaven! There wasn't much to see in Knoxville, so we had dinner & drinks at a bar & headed into the show. Both shows were great! But come Thursday morning, we were more than ready to see our Peanut!

Our tram ride back up after dinner...see that little light, way down there? That's where we ate!

Our Bed & Breakfast in Asheville--The Chestnut Street Inn. Our innkeeper, LaDonna, thought Phish was "a very popular Christian band."

The sign to the restaurant & farm market we ate at. We both got Apple Cider BBQ Pork Sandwiches which came with apple cider, apple fritters and apple butter...mmmmmm good...seriously that was some good BBQ Pork!

C-bus for a day...

Scott had to travel down to Columbus to shoot engagements on Ohio State's campus, so we took the opportunity to visit our Bests! Spencer LOVES to make Evi smile...and boy can he make her smile! :) And Cameron is becoming so alert...she doesn't look so "newborn" anymore. I loved watching Mags interact with her...you can tell they already have a strong Mother-Daughter bond. We had a blast, Mags & Chris...thanks for letting us visit! Hopefully in a few days I will put up the "professional" pics Scott took of Evi sitting on the Oval Lawn while waiting for the couple to shoot engagements. Toodles...

The Girls...Evi 6 mths & Cameron 2 1/2 mths

Doesn't this just melt the heart?!

Sittin' Pretty

Okay...it's official. I'm hooked to blogging! These pics are some randoms of our big girl sitting up on her own! These were taken yesterday afternoon with our lil' point n' shoot camera. I should mention, that all the pictures from my last post were also just snapshots from our point n' shoot. Hopefully some time this week we do her 6 mth photo shoot. toodles ;)
