You and Eye: Evi's 4 weeks old!

Evelyn has already changed so much! She is still quite the sleeper, as growing is hard work, but is beginning to become more alert for longer periods. For the most part, she is a content & happy baby...we could not have gotten more lucky! Her first four weeks have been eventful...at 10 days she went to her Aunt Suzi's wedding in Columbus (unfortunately, we are bad parents & forgot our camera & didn't get a picture with the beautiful bride), she's gone to "paint your own pottery" & made a special gift for her daddy, she's been shopping, went to family functions for Christmas...she went to a party & met her new friend, Harper whom is a little under 2 months older. We went to Aunt Sarah's & Uncle Steve's last night for New Year's Eve and this weekend she gets to meet her boyfriends, Hayden & Emerson in Indiana for Miss Brandi's reception! She has had her first "big girl" bath now that her cord is off & healed and she has even humored us and held a rattle! :) Evelyn has learned already that her Daddy will have a camera in her face...see below our first family photo session at about 8 days old.
