It's been too long....

Wow, looking back on my last post is crazy! Evelyn has changed so much! She is no longer a baby, but a toddler with a mind of her own! She totally wants to be Miss Independent and talks up a storm...and she is still as much of a ham as she ever was! Anyway, we finally have 2 computers again (that's why this blog has slacked)! So, I do hope to get back to it!

October...In a Nutshell

See below the photos I've uploaded...I was planning on uploading the rest of October's pictures, however, it is just taking too long & I'm getting sick of sitting in front of the computer...lazy, I know. But here's the gist of October. Scott's mom & sister invited my mom, Evi, & I to New York with them...my first trip to NYC---took me 27 years and Evi only 10 months to visit the Big Apple! We shopped, ate, & at night, Kristi & I hit the town! So much fun! In that same week Scott, Ev & I traveled to Chicago to shoot a wedding & got the chance to see Chrisy, Marc, Ellie, & Ari! Thanks for watching Ms. Evelyn & letting us sleep in Ellie's room! Evi also fingerpainted for her first time & tailgated in Columbus for the Buckeyes! I am so amazed at Evelyn's development. She has an excellent point--loves to point to something & reference back to Scott or I--words can't even explain how happy that makes me! She LOVES to say Dada and has started saying Mama (but typically only when she's whining)...if you ask her "What does a bear say?" she growls! Pretty funny! She plays peek-a-boo (both with her blanket and if she's standing up against the couch). And she is pretty much imitating most words we say! I am just sooooo proud of her already! She also has 4 teeth these days and two more on the way! So, that's us, in a nutshell...the three of us are getting over being sick, but we still dressed her up last night for Halloween! So, below are some photos from photoshoots and Evi in her first Halloween costume! Enjoy, and we hope we find everyone in good health!

Family Photoshoot:
We attempted a family photoshoot by setting up the tripod...next time we'll have to bring a friend along to help get Evi to look at the lens! But we got a few good ones of the three of us...wasn't a complete waste! Scott & I then took turns taking pics of one another with the Evsters! This is her at about 10 1/2 mths. :)

Zoo, Trouble, & Holly's Wedding!

Evi & I headed to the zoo a couple of weeks ago...her first time! Like most small kiddos, Evelyn LOVED the aquarium...she also had fun watching the monkeys as they were active! Like I said, it was just Evi & I, so I did my best with the pictures! Enjoy!

So, I was slow to really capture the image I wanted (I didn't have my camera on)...that monkey was at the glass in Evi's face...she just stared in awe!

Okay, so waaay grainy picture...but I didn't want to use flash and our rinky dink point-n-shoot camera just doesn't do the job (the same goes for Holly's wedding below...Scott was shooting another wedding that day so obviously he had all the good gear and I just had my lil' point-n-shoot for that as well...ugh, awful pics!)

On the 16th, we met Scott's parents for Marilyn's Birthday...Happy Birthday Nana!



On Saturday, my fabulous parents not only watched my daughter, but also let me borrow one of their cars to drive 2 hours to Holly's wedding! It was a blast! Holls looked amazing...Aaron, you didn't look so bad yourself! I got to spend some quality girl time with my girlies from Kent--Amy, Danielle, Nikki, & of course, Holls! You did a GREAT job planning your wedding, Holls! You & it was beautiful & loads of fun! Congratulations & lotsa love!
